Jiashi Yang is a professor at the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering of University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He
received his B.E. and M.E. in Engineering Mechanics in 1982 and 1985 from Tsinghua University; M.S. in Mechanical Engineering
in 1988 from Syracuse University; and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering in 1993 from Princeton University. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow from
1993 to 1994 at the University of Missouri-Rolla; and from 1994 to 1995 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He was employed by
Motorola, Inc. as an engineer from 1995 to 1997. Since 1997 he has been an Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor at University of
Nebraska-Lincoln. His main research area is the mechanics of electromechanical devices.
报告摘要:
自大约本世纪初以来,随着现代材料加工技术的发展,人们可以生产出越来越多的新型压电半导体结构,比如各种氧化锌纤维、条带及薄膜,其中包括纳米尺度的结构。这些压电半导体结构被广泛用于各种机电器件,包括换能器、传感器及电子器件等。近年来关于压电半导体的研究已经形成了被称为压电电子学及压电光电子学的新兴研究领域。对压电半导体的研究涉及材料、物理和力学的交叉耦合。
本报告是关于我和我的合作者们近几年来关于压电半导体纤维和薄膜结构的理论研究的概述。我们的研究是基于压电半导体的宏观唯象理论,涉及牛顿定律,静电场的高斯方程,及半导体电子与空穴的连续方程。我们对这些方程进行了线性化近似,导出了梁和板的一维和二维理论,求解了一系列对器件有用的静力和动力问题,并对一些非线性问题进行了数值求解。
